A SAVED penalty, sending off and disallowed goal couldn't stop Saxons turning in the best performance of the season.
Sol Buckner's men looked invincible from start to finish at St Paul's College on Saturday defeating Saints twice in seven days.
In bright winter sunshine, Saxons put down a marker on four minutes when goal machine Joe Lovell wrapped the ball against a post.
Veteran Joe Woodford opened the scoring with a sweet reverse strike from close range on 20 minutes.
A shot on goal saved by a foot saw Saxons awarded a penalty flick on the half hour.
But Buckner's effort was saved by Saints keeper.
The hosts stepped up the pressure in the second half and were helped when defender Maurice Pickard was sent off for dissent, following an alleged dangerous tackle.
But Saxons held firm with Buckner dropping back into defence to help steady the ship.
Back to full strength, Buckner shifted forward and supplied Paul Merison with a perfect pass on 56 minutes for a simple tap in.
And Lovell finished the contest off on 62 minutes firing in from close range after another quick break involving Ollie Beal and Dom Whitaker.
Whitaker felt aggrieved when his cool finish was judged to be outside the D.
"We played out of our skins," said Buckner. "It could have been five or six. We just overpowered St Francis and took our chances. I will definitely be practising my flicks at training next week."
Saxons travel to Eastbourne V on Saturday for a 4.30pm push back.
