Lovell, who only picked up a stick in September, opened the scoring on 12 mins with a deft deflection of skipper Sol Buckner's pile driving shot into the D.
The visitors quickly hit back with a well executed wing pass and strike past Ben Bosden on 16 mins.
Then the visitors took the lead from a drag flicked short leaving Bosden no chance.
Buckner changed to a 4-5-1 formation second half and it paid dividends.
On 47 minutes Buckner burst into the D and set up Lovell for another tremendous deflected effort past the Horsham keeper to make it 2-2.
Saxons then piled forward in search of a winner and took the lead on 56 minutes.
Buckner's half-hit short corner foxed the keeper and jumped over his stick for his fifth of the season sparking a frenzy of celebration.
But as the clock ticked down Saxons were unlucky to concede a short which the visitors duely converted to grab a point.
"We had enough chance to win it" said Buckner. "Joe's goals were very well taken for someone of just 16. We've unearthed another gem of player."
