Another impressive away day win put high-flying Saxons within a whisker of promotion from Sussex Hockey Division Four.

In glorious Spring sunshine at St Andrews School, Sol Buckner's troops were again imperious from start to finish as they secured their sixth win in a row. Since Christmas, Saxons lost just once in 12 games at home to run-away league winners East Grinstead Saints.
And it was the skipper who opened the scoring in the 11th minute.
Latching on to Peter Klein's aerial on the right wing, Buckner steamed into the D and fire the ball home from a narrow angle after the keeper left his near post unguarded.
It was then one-way traffic as Saxons pressed for a second.
It arrived in the 18th minute when Paul Merison squeezed the ball home during a goal mouth melee.
The hosts parked the defensive bus in the second half determined to make a fight of it while trying to catch Saxons on the break.
But a rear-guard marshalled by man-of-the-match Russ Cole thwarted every attempt.
And the season was polished off in style the 66th minute when Saxons produced a sublime short corner routine finished by Jonne Tryphonos.
Jubilant skipper Buckner said: "It's been an outstanding season I will never forget and I want to thank the team for their efforts this season.
"From being thumped 10-0 at run-away league winners East Grinstead Saints in November we dusted ourselves down and regrouped.
"After Christmas we lost just once in 12 games narrowly at home to the Saints and ended up scoring 89 goals.
"Congratulations to EG Saints. They were a class apart this season.
"And I must thank all the clubs, players, supporters and individuals who work hard and turn out every Saturday to make this wonderful sport possible each season.
"I have captained quite a few teams over the years but this was the best ever and was an honour to be part of."
Saxons must wait on the result of Eastbourne V against Lewes V tomorrow to discover if they have secured second place.
Squad: Heath, Cole, Hooton, Rigby, Whitehead, Cornelius, Webster, Klein, Whitaker, Tryphonos, Buckner (c) Merison
