A last gasp short corner prevented Saxons deservedly taking all three points on a freezing cold afternoon in Brighton.

Sol Buckner's troops took the game to the hosts from the start in this hard-fought 3rd versus 4th clash in Sussex Hockey Division Four.
The high tempo was forced by the dominance of Rak Patel and Ollie Cornelius in midfield who poured forward on every occasion.
And it was Buckner who almost broke the deadlock on 10 minutes when his shot fizzed millimetres wide of the near post.
Despite most of the possession Saxons could not find the final break through against Brighton's determined rear guard.
After the break Saxons again pressed hard probing for the opener.
And in the 43rd minute a quick break was finished off by Cornelius to put Saxons deservedly ahead.
Saxons continued to pour forward but couldn't convert a number of chances and were ultimately made to pay the price.
A defensive mistake lead to a short corner in the 67th minute. And the hosts gratefully converted to grab a share of the spoils.
Saxons skipper Buckner said: "We dominated much of the game and should have taken all three points.
"But Brighton defended well and made it very hard for us. It was a wonderful advert for the game as we both fought to the end in bitterly cold conditions."
Saxons welcome undefeated league leaders East Grinstead Saints on Saturday (Feb 18) for a 12pm push back.
Joint man of match: Rak Patel and Russell Cole
Squad: Heath, Cornish, Cole, Whitehead, Rigby, Acott, Patel, Cornelius, Williams, Buckner, Klein, Woodford, Tryphonos
