Saxons played a much changed and stringer penguins side than eariler in the season.

The midfield partnership of Captain Phil Carrington and Paul Merison controlled the game from the off.

Saxons were finding it hard to break the home side down untill a pass from Coach Rob Whitehouse found man of the match Jo Woodford, who calmly beat the last defender, drew the keeper out of position and passed to the open Sol Buckner to tap into the empty net.

More second half pressure saw Buckner add to more from a combined total of 6 yards to complete his hat trick and end his goal drought.

Whitehouse scored from a well worked short corner to round of the scoring and keep Saxons on track for the promotion playoffs
