PAUL: And we knew we had to take it one game at a time. I've had unbelievable belief in the squad from day one. I couldn't be prouder of the lads today.

TRENT: The tone of the game came with that amazing individual run early in the first half.

PAUL: Trent, I'm not going to talk about individuals. We got here as a team. Everyone gave a really good account of themselves and put in a shift to get the result.

TRENT: OK then talk me through the game as you saw it.

PAUL: Honestly, I can never remember what happened or the score, I just know we won/lost/drew. The boys give it 110% every time they pull on the shirt as there are no easy games at this level.

TRENT: You called the team together before the match started; what did you say to inspire them?

PAUL: After telling them not to fanny about in the corners, I reminded them their bodies are like day-old rice. If it ain't warmed up properly something bad could happen. Also, in the words of the Brand New Heavies ... 'Never Stop'!

TRENT: You have a large squad and this was a crucial game. How did you assess the team selection?

PAUL: That's a nice headache to have. The main thing is we're a team - whether they're on the pitch, subbing, supporting, watching the WhatsApp updates or on the injured list, they are all still part of this amazing, winning team.

TRENT: So looking forward to next season; will you be able to compete in the big league?

PAUL: I'm just focused on our next game Trent. We've got two more games this season and we owe it to everyone to go for the win and to be undefeated, especially for Gazza. Our goal is to go out like Willie Nelson - on a high!

As for next season, I have unbelievable belief in this team as we've already beaten two teams from that league. I'd add that whether you're fighting for a place in our first successful season in Martlets 3 as part of the 4ths, or you're turning up and giving everything for the 5ths in Martlets 4 to give them a new dawn, you just have to believe!
