The wettest of Saturday mornings, but thankfully a quality playing surface that was capable of dealing with the torrential weather that had caused disruption elsewhere.

Saxons struggled to play their usual game in the first half. Mid Sussex clearly offering more competition than our previous league fixtures this season. Saxons just could not settle in the first half and were a goal down by the break.
Some minor change to our shape and some fire back in our bellies, Saxons came out a different team. A team of warriors! A far better performance from the entire team, but special mentions to Russ and Eddie for preventing a greater deficit. Eddie making some match winning saves. But there was nobody more determined to win the game than Charlie. The man was possessed, I swear he had sold his soul at half time for the win. Presenting Saxons with the 2 goals they needed to take the lead and win the game. Both goals hard worked solo efforts, the latter from the tightest of angles possible. Its a second half performance that will stay in his team mates memory for a long time.

Still top of the league!!!

Be mindful that students from the school may be around and ensure your behaviour is appropriate.
Be mindful of language and actions that may be deemed inappropriate – for instance, even on a hot day please do not remove playing shirts. Also foul language can be heard outside the pitch, so please contain it.
Be careful in the car park. It can get congested, so please be patient when parking or leaving, giving precedence to the staff and students and ensure you have a safety first approach.
The facilities are all owned by the college. Please respect this.
Do not arrive more than 30 minutes before the game start time. This helps manage cross-over use with the college.

All parking is by the bottom pitch.
Toilets are only by the bottom pitch. Please use them before going to the top pitch as there are no facilities here.
We apologise, there is no changing, so please come changed.
You may be playing on either surface, you will be advised before you arrive.
Please allow 5 minutes to walk to the top pitch.
Post Match
Food is provided at the St Franics Sports and Social Club (What 3 Words ///horses.decks.trial, Post Code RH16 4RU) where we now have an excellent Thai Curry after matches. Please advise before the match starts as to how many will be coming back for food so that we can inform the club.
The St Francis car park is now monitored. You will need to register your car using one of the terminals inside the club to avoid a parking fine.
