A pleasing start to the men's 4's pre-season campaign. Eastbourne are always tough opponents, but being one of the hottest days of the year, the sun offered the biggest of challenges to overcome. A solid performance from the defence and a fantastic penalty flick save in the final quarter by Billy kept it a goalless draw at the final whistle. Josh and Charlie blended seamlessly into this Saxons side on their debuts. Both with strong standout performances. Another worthy mention was Ollie Bridges who had arguably one of his best performances for the side.
Man of the Match - Will Richardson . An exceptional game. This is a hard working disciplined young hockey player. Watch this space.......
