A superb turnout, particularly from our adult members, helped create a great atmosphere throughout the day. Even the weather played its part, with the rain holding off and allowing everyone to enjoy the activities both on and off the pitch.

Thanks to the generosity and support of everyone involved, Club Day raised an impressive £346.45 for the club.

Events like this only happen because of the time, effort and generosity of so many people, and the club would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day possible.

Special thanks go to Jemima Beal and Andrew Orr for organising Club Day and putting everything in place ahead of the event, and to Amy Stevens for coordinating the off-pitch activities on the day.

On the pitch, a big thank you goes to Simon Richardson, Dom Ford and Oliver Cornelius for their help in keeping the hockey running smoothly throughout the day.

Thanks also to Beckie Cooper for her help with the stalls, and to everyone who generously donated cakes and raffle prizes. Your contributions played an important part in both the success of the day and the money raised.

We are also extremely grateful to Pats Food Truck and also made his very kind donation to the club. His support was hugely appreciated and helped add another enjoyable community element to the day.

Finally, our thanks go to Horntye Park Sports Complex for supporting the event by providing the pitch at a reduced rate.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came along, played, supported, volunteered, bought raffle tickets, enjoyed the refreshments or simply helped create such a positive club atmosphere.

It was fantastic to see so many members of the South Saxons community together, and Club Day once again demonstrated what a strong and welcoming club we have.
