South Saxons Hockey Club is delighted to wish Billy Whizz the very best of luck as he travels to Brasschaat, Belgium, to represent the Wales Dragons Masters O55s at the World Masters Hockey World Cup.

Billy joins an impressive list of South Saxons members who have been involved in this year’s tournament. George Deaves has been officiating as an England international umpire, while Paul Merison will also be competing with the Scottish Thistles Masters O60s, and Peter Klein with the Scottish Thistles O70s.

Having three club members representing their nations and the international officiating team at the sport’s biggest masters event is a fantastic achievement and reflects the strength of hockey within our club.
