With the estimated cost of running the club this season reaching around £40,000, the Committee has reviewed the structure to ensure that the costs are shared as fairly as possible across the membership, while also making the system simpler to manage.

The key aim of the new structure is to create a standardised and straightforward system for everyone.

One of the challenges last season was the lack of visibility created by the large number of different payment options and tickets that had to be made available. The club hopes that this streamlined approach will make administration easier, improve transparency and provide greater clarity for players, captains and club officials.

Flights(U12 Players)
No joining fee. Flights will continue to be charged at £20 per month, payable by rolling Direct Debit from the point at which a player joins throughout the season.

New Joining Fee - Adult teams and JDL Players

All players will be required to pay a Joining Fee by the end of September in order to remain eligible for selection for their teams for the rest of the season.

The Joining Fee will be available as a ticket option through Pitchero, providing a simple and transparent way of tracking payments. The club will be able to regularly provide captains with updated lists of players who have paid, ensuring everyone has clear visibility of registration status.

The season joining fees are:

Adults: £150
Concessions: £100, including juniors, students and other eligible concessionary players

These fees apply across all seven adult teams and the JDL.

Match Fees

In addition to the Joining Fee, match fees will be charged for each game:
Adults: £15 per game
Concessions: £10 per game

Captains will be responsible for issuing match fees through Pitchero. This should be a straightforward process, particularly where team selection is already managed through the platform. Players/Parents will need to make match fee payments by the Pitchero App before the following weekends game to remain eligible for selection.

Note this will mean that captains cannot select players who are not registered with the club or behind with payments.

Financial Support and Flexible Payment
The club appreciates that individual circumstances can vary. If a player finds themselves in an exceptional situation, they should feel comfortable approaching their Captain or Section Head to discuss an appropriate arrangement.

Where necessary, the club is happy to consider arrangements such as allowing the £150 adult Joining Fee to be paid over three months. However, players must speak to a Captain or Section Head in advance to arrange this.

Flexibility for Players Doubling Up

The club recognises that there will be occasions when players are asked to double up with our development team(s) to help ensure that all teams can field a side.

Where a player is specifically asked to play for an additional team to help the club fulfil its fixtures, they will not be charged a second match fee.

This is an important distinction, however. The arrangement is not intended as a 2-for-1 offer for players who choose to play additional games or are added as extras. It is designed specifically to provide the flexibility needed to ensure the club can field all of its adult teams each week.

Casual Players
Players who wish to play on a casual basis can do so for £15 per game for their first two games. After playing two games, players will be expected to commit to the club and pay the relevant Joining Fee.

Half Year Subs
Following the Christmas break, the Joining Fee for members wishing to join the club will be reduced by 50% to:
Adults: £75*
Concessions: £50*
*Note these concessions are designed for new members/transfers and are not open to players whose annual joining fee is overdue, or have played more than two games before the Christmas break.
